Any OCPP charger
Chargers connect over OCPP 1.6J or 2.0.1, so you choose the hardware and a single site can mix brands.
Four ways to start a session
An RFID card, the Faraday Pay App, Plug & Charge, or an unauthenticated auto-start — set per connector, depending on where it is.
Tariffs per connector
Rates combine energy, time and session charges, and you set them per connector and per access method. Resident, guest and public pricing can all run on the same site.
Billing as merchant of record
Faraday is the merchant of record for every card payment, so you don't have to handle payment processing or the tax that comes with it.
Session and revenue reporting
Every session is recorded with its energy, duration and amount charged, then reported per charger and per site in your dashboard.
Fault codes and diagnostics
Charger faults show up as OCPP fault codes in the dashboard, and we keep the full protocol message history behind them so Faraday support has something to work from.
