Regional Pricing Annex
Faraday Charging Platform Pricing Schedule — Regional Pricing Annex
Region: Albania
Effective Date: 1 November 2026
This is the first version of this Annex. All versions are listed in the document archive.
This Regional Pricing Annex (this "Annex"), together with the General Pricing Terms and any other Regional Pricing Annexes, constitutes the Faraday Charging Platform Pricing Schedule. This Annex is subject to the General Pricing Terms and the Charging Platform Terms (the "Terms").
Capitalized terms not defined in this Annex have the meanings given in the Terms and/or the General Pricing Terms.
1. APPLICABILITY
This Annex applies to Customers and/or charging operations designated by Faraday as falling within the Republic of Albania.
2. BILLING CURRENCY
Unless otherwise agreed in writing in an Order Form or Customer-Specific Addendum, fees under this Annex are denominated and invoiced in EUR.
Where Customer prices End User charging transactions in Albanian lek or any other currency, that pricing does not affect the currency in which Faraday's fees are denominated. Faraday's fees are not adjusted for exchange-rate movements between the invoice date and the payment date.
3. PRICING CATEGORIES
For pricing purposes, Faraday may distinguish between:
- Personal / residential organizations; and
- Business organizations (including operators, fleets, site hosts, hotels, workplaces, municipalities, and other business entities).
4. PERSONAL ORGANIZATIONS
Personal organizations are not charged Platform fees under this Annex unless otherwise stated in an Order Form, Customer-Specific Addendum, or published pricing update.
Classification and reclassification rules are set out in the General Pricing Terms.
5. BUSINESS ORGANIZATIONS
5.1 Base session fee
For business organizations:
- EUR 0.19 per billable Charging Session (excluding VAT)
5.2 Pay App technology fee
Where a Charging Session is initiated through Faraday's Pay App (including Pay App remote-start flows), the following additional fee applies:
- EUR 0.23 per Pay App session (excluding VAT)
What the fee covers. The Pay App technology fee compensates Faraday for the Pay App interface, session initiation, the orchestration of payment authorization and capture against Customer's Payment Provider, transaction status handling and reconciliation data, refund workflows initiated through the Faraday Platform, and the maintenance of Faraday's technical integration with Customer's Payment Provider. It is not a payment-processing, acquiring, settlement, or Merchant of Record fee.
Mixed-use organizations. If an organization has a mix of Pay App sessions and non-Pay App sessions (for example, staff sessions via RFID and guest sessions via Pay App), this Pay App technology fee applies only to qualifying Pay App-initiated sessions.
Classification. Faraday will classify Pay App-initiated sessions using Faraday's session records and billing classification (which may include session initiation/authentication/authorization metadata). Faraday may apply reasonable billing rules for edge cases, retries, and data anomalies, consistent with the General Pricing Terms and any applicable customer-specific commercial document.
5.3 Merchant of Record and Payment Provider
Faraday does not act as Merchant of Record for End User charging transactions under this Annex and does not hold, collect, or settle End User funds.
Customer, or a payment service provider, bank, or electronic money institution designated by Customer and supported by Faraday (the "Payment Provider"), is responsible for End User payment collection, authorization, capture, settlement, refunds, chargebacks, and compliance with applicable Albanian law, including requirements of the Bank of Albania.
All fees, charges, and reserves of the Payment Provider (including acquiring, interchange, scheme, gateway, account, and settlement fees) are contracted and paid by Customer directly to the Payment Provider. They are not Platform fees, are not invoiced or deducted by Faraday, and are not included in any fee stated in this Annex.
No card processing or MoR Fee component applies under this Annex. Should Faraday agree in writing to act as Merchant of Record for a Customer in Albania, the applicable fee components will be stated in an Order Form or Customer-Specific Addendum.
5.4 Payment Provider connection
Faraday's Pay App supports the Payment Provider(s) identified in Customer's Order Form or in Faraday's published list of supported providers. No separate fee applies for the use or maintenance of a supported Payment Provider integration beyond the Pay App technology fee.
Where Customer requests a technical integration with a Payment Provider that Faraday does not already support, Faraday may charge a one-time Payment Provider Connection Fee, the amount and terms of which are stated in the Order Form or Customer-Specific Addendum. Faraday is under no obligation to build such an integration unless agreed in writing.
6. MONTHLY MINIMUM
6.1 Amount and level
For business organizations:
- EUR 4.90 per charger per calendar month
For each charger in each calendar month:
- Calculate the total base session fees for that charger for the month.
- For a charger in service for only part of the month, the Monthly Minimum is pro-rated by days as set out in the General Pricing Terms.
- Compare that amount to the Monthly Minimum (EUR 4.90).
- If the counted fees are less than EUR 4.90, Faraday charges the difference as a Minimum Top-Up Fee.
- If the counted fees are equal to or greater than EUR 4.90, no Minimum Top-Up Fee applies for that charger for that month.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, only base session fees count toward the Monthly Minimum.
6.4 What does not count toward the minimum
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Pay App technology fees and any Payment Provider Connection Fee do not count toward the Monthly Minimum.
7. FAILED, ABORTED, AND ZERO-ENERGY SESSIONS
Unless otherwise specified in an Order Form, Customer-Specific Addendum, or applicable billing workflow, Faraday may define billing treatment for failed, aborted, zero-energy, or similar session outcomes using reasonable and consistently applied rules, and may exclude such sessions from billing where identified as non-chargeable under Faraday's billing rules.
Any fee the Payment Provider charges Customer for an attempted, declined, or reversed End User transaction is a matter between Customer and the Payment Provider and is unaffected by Faraday's treatment of the session.
8. INVOICING
Because Faraday does not hold End User funds under this Annex, fees are charged by invoice and are not deducted from End User transaction proceeds.
Unless otherwise agreed, fees accrue and are billed monthly in arrears, subject to the General Pricing Terms and any applicable customer-specific commercial document.
Fees are exclusive of VAT and other taxes, as set out in Section 8 of the General Pricing Terms.
9. CUSTOMER-SPECIFIC OVERRIDES
Faraday may agree customer-specific commercial terms in an Order Form or Customer-Specific Addendum, including custom fee rates/components, modified or waived Monthly Minimums, volume tiers, pilot pricing, custom billing cycles, Payment Provider Connection Fees, and payment-rail-specific terms. Any such terms override this Annex only to the extent expressly stated.
10. VERSIONING AND UPDATES
This Annex may be updated by Faraday in accordance with the General Pricing Terms, the Terms, and applicable law. Updated versions will identify an effective date and may be published on Faraday's website and/or in the Dashboard.
